1. Go to player options and click on in it and then click on Manage and select Install VMware Tools.

2. Click download and Install in the software updates windows that opens up

3. You will get an autoplay window which will prompt you to install the VMware tools. If you do not see then you can open you My computer or the file explorer and search for the CD drive( named VMware tools).

4. Click Next in the dialog box Welcome to the installation wizard that appears to start the installation.

5. In the next installation screen that appears, choose the installation type and then click Next. The typical will be sufficient for most users. The complete install option will install the complete package and the custom option lets you install only the packages that you want.

6. Click Next the installation will begin and then when it finishes you will be prompted to restart. Restart the machine and then on the next start the screen resolution and performance will be improved considerably.
